I guess now I'm trying to figure out why the Twitter bird is even there. Why can't there just be a Twitter link at the bottom of the page with the Facebook link and the 3 other links I've never heard of.

You would think, but then again, any discussion of this was shut down after a couple pissy responses from Antony. Best rationalization was that it made us look like CNN or Fox News, except that those are NEWS sites and not message boards.

The entire right side makes this place a shittier experience. I tired logging in with my iPhone a little while ago, and the bird took up so much space that I couldn't navigate the board at all without zooming in so far that i had to scroll back and forth to read anything at all...
