Poor old bird, it comes along at the same time the column widens and 2 + 2 = 5!

We (well, most of us) understand that the bird isn't causing the wider right column, but due to the timing it is a convenient scapegoat... err, scapebird for our displeasure with the change.

The newly expanded right column really does jack up the main portion of the board for a lot of people, though.
