Move over Sandra Bullock, there's a new girl next door.

Thumbs Up

Her IMDB profile is interesting. She doesn't drive a car and only takes public transportation.

Beautiful woman. I haven't seen her in anything bad yet, so she's a sure bet so far on movies to see.

I just saw "The Notebook" for the first time last night. It was the first time I got a real good look at her (though I've seen "Mean Girls" too) and...I was a little underwhelmed. It gave me more of an 'man-crush' on Ryan Gosling than it made me a fan of her looks.

In box office terms, Rachel McAdams has been one of the most successful film actresses since 2002. She's been in seven wide-release films that have grossed an average of about $80 million.

She was the biggest up and coming female star of 2005. She was an "It Girl". And though her career continues to be successful, the hype surrounding her isn't really there anymore. Maybe she didn't want that kind of super celebrity status.

Hmmm... she seems to be underperforming here. Might not even make the playoffs.
