I would have posted photo for you to judge, but I'm too busy eating. ![]() No where near as greasy as I feared. Precooked potato and pea balance is about right. I put lots of spices in but I can barely taste them. I think a lot of them found their way out in the oil. Pastry is a slightly grainy, and not as crisp as factory made ones, but is generally okay. Shape is a bit off as I wasn't sure how to make pyramids, but that doesn't really matter. Suffice to say I'm having another

In Canada, "London broil" is flank steak rolled with ground pork. As Wikipedia says: "The origin of the name is obscure; the food is unknown in London, England." It sure is tasty, though.

We had meatloaf, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, and garlic mashed potatoes tonight. It was my first time making meatloaf, and I've been nervous about cooking some American foods since my mother-in-law is an amazing cook. But my husband loved dinner!
