The first three acts were great, but I'd give 3-1 odds that Trek 12 gets released before Act 4 of TTI.

I hope that I am wrong though.

I'm half tempted to take that bet.
Please do. Put more money than you can afford to lose <ahem> on it.
Let me know when odds reach 8-1...I'll be "ALL IN"

You've seen Trek 12? Could you see anything around the lens flares?

So, Dennis, when this is done, is that "it" for you and Starship Exeter? Will you be part of the next voyage (if there is one)?

I'd likely work on it. This has been fun.

I thought they renamed the hero ship "Starship Dennis".

Hopefully I'll have some more specifics to announce by the end of July. Our plan is still to shoot the lion's share of the live action in the first week of December, and so far we're on target.

Thanks for asking.

Nice to hear you are making progress, Dennis. Did you happen to see the short I made a few weeks ago for the 48 Hour Film Project?

Yeah, I really was impressed and enjoyed it.

Out of curiosity, what was your lighting set-up like there? I'd think it'd be pretty close quarters.

Cooley looks real familiar to me, BTW - has he done any TV or film work that I might have seen?

It was TIGHT. I'll post some pix of the shoot over on the thread about the film and talk about what we did for lighting, as I don't want to hickjack this topic!

I'll address your question about P.A. Cooley there, too.

Is there ANY chance that the final act will be completed by Shore Leave (07/10-12)? That would make the great convention a hoot.

If not, I understand that, though Shore Leave would be cool, some things take their time.

I don't want to speak to the rest of the team, but even if I got my visuals to Jimm today (which I won't), I don't think it will be done next week.

However, as a not-too-distant bystander, I think when this is done it will blow everyone away...It will be more of a work of art than simply an episode.

That's all anyone is really asking. Well, I'm sure some of us don't care about art and just wanna see it done, but most of us understand. Do the job right, release it when it's done, and try to ignore those of us cooped up in the back of Dennis' car. We're kind of smelly anyway.
