Re: Unbelievable

Wow, talk about a major Bridezilla!!!!! Her fiance needs to turn back now while he still can! How ungrateful can you be..especially to a friend?!?! And to tell her friend that she did this on purpose just to ruin her wedding is just downright spiteful. I mean, how would SHE feel if SHE were put in that position?? I've heard of vindictive bitches but this one definitely takes the cake and icing on top!

Re: Unbelievable

I do think the word "bridezilla" is really funny, though.

Re: Unbelievable

the best thing any one can do for the hopeful not groom is to play a copy of that to him.
but it isnt just the brides.
i have known brides who got raked over the coals for picking brides maids who were deemed not pretty enough.
the bride just said well they are my friends and well then it is a good thing you are
not in the wedding party.

Re: Unbelievable

I have said here before that I think weddings are (or they've become, rather) the epitome of what's wrong with America.

I think this story speaks for itself.

Americans have become narcissistic, greedy, Attention whores who lack any grasp of the "bigger picture."

Weddings put this into focus. They've become these ridiculous grandstanding circuses that have to be bigger, better, louder, and more expensive than the last guy's. They have become their own little dioramas of at least five of the deadly sins.

And yet, the sad thing is "getting married" has become just about "having a wedding"; the marriage itself is now second fiddle. Then of course, after two kids and five years the whole thing completely falls apart and those so-called "memories" become nothing but good fire starter.

What do I think? I think the groom is an idiot if he is going to marry a bitch like this.

Actualy I think this is a Worldwide problem not just America's. Now if most weddings are this terrible why do so many gays & lesbians want to get married? In my humble opinion ALL MARRIGE & WEDDINGS should be outlawd!

They never said if the bride has any children or not, but I get the sense from the way she bad-mouthed pregnant women that she has never been pregnant herself. Calling them "fat bitches" and speaking of having to hide their ugly bellies...that's a really sad attitude to have about it. Plus if she had her own children she probably would have been at least somewhat happy for her friend.

G&Ls want to get married. There's nothing wrong with getting married. There's just no reason to put on a $30,000 spectacle to do so.

Yep, no one gets married or has extravagant weddings they obsess over outside of the US.

In regard to the OP, I'm torn between my disgust at the friend for going on the radio and making what should have been a private discussion between friends into a public spectacle and the bride's extreme selfishness and rudeness towards her friend's pregnancy. Neither of them seem like very good friends to each other, but the bride obviously comes off worse because of her reaction.

It amazes me that someone like this could even find a friend, let alone someone who wants to live with her. Has not this psychopathic personality manifested itself before?

Re: Unbelievable

^^^ Is suspect it has, otherwise she would have just been able to tell her friend she's pregnant herself instead of finding a roundabout way to ask over the radio because she was afraid of her reaction.

Probably should have cut her loose years ago.
