Smallville: Favorite Season Finale

SPOILERS for all season finales, including "Doomsday", are ahead. You've been warned!

Now that Doomsday has aired, I figure a poll is in order. What's your favorite Smallville season finale?

Tempest
Clark, Chloe and Pete get ready for the spring formal. Lionel closes the plant. Lex plans an employee buyout. Roger Nixon threatens to expose Clark. Whitney leaves for the Marine Corps, and Lana gets swept up in a tornado.
Exodus
When Jor-El demands that Clark leave Smallville forever and fulfill his Kryptonian destiny, Clark does something drastic to fight it, with tragic consequences. Lex and Helen get married, and Lionel catches Chloe in a moment of weakness, and she agrees to investigate Clark for him.
Covenant
Kara comes to entice Clark to return to Jor-El. Jonathan reveals the deal he made with Jor-El. Lionel helps Clark discover Lex's room of obsession, and Lana leaves for Paris. Meanwhile, Lionel fails to make bail, but Chloe and her father are killed in an explosion.
Commencement
A second meteor shower is headed for Smallville. Jor-El says that Clark must get all the Crystals. Lana may be wanted for murder. Lois is leaving to find her sister in Europe. Clark's graduation ceremony gets interrupted.
Vessel
Professor Fine has unleashed a computer virus that will kill millions. Clark must put a stop to him, while Lex wonders what will happen when he tells Lana his newest secret.
Phantom
When Clark discovers Lionel threatened to kill him unless Lana married Lex, he goes after Lionel to silence him once and for all. Lana tells Lex she is leaving him, and Martian Manhunter makes a return appearance to help Clark stop Lex, who is trying to find the last wraith from the Phantom Zone in order to use its DNA to power his army of super soldiers. Meanwhile, Lois goes to Reeves Dam in search of information about Lex's secret lab and is brutally stabbed by a security guard. Chloe's secret power is revealed.
Arctic
Kara tells Lex he is destined to defeat the Traveler and offers to take him to the Fortress to learn how. Clark is stunned that Kara would go to Lex but it is revealed that Brainiac is impersonating Kara and she's actually trapped in the Phantom Zone. Chloe is arrested by the Department of Domestic Security and Lana awakens from her comatose state. Meanwhile, in an epic turn of events, Clark and Lex face off in the Fortress and Lex learns Clark's secret.
Doomsday
You just saw it.

I'm gonnna have to go with Vessel and I thought in Covenant it was Lana that was "killed" in the explosion, to fake her death. That must be a misprint.

You got your finales mixed up. Lana faked her death in "Phantom", not "Covenant".

I'm voting Temest, the first finale. It was totally exciting, and at that point the show had lots of promise, the premise was working, all of the cast, yes including Lana, had good chemistry. All the pieces were there and it was perfectly executed.

Which doesn't mean the other finales were poor, but each season the show deviated further from what it did best.

Season 2's "Exodus" where Clark caused Martha to lose the baby and then ran away. You just can't beat that. Not only was it pretty heavy stuff for Smallville, it was pretty heavy stuff for all of Superman period.
