Yeah.

One thing that JJTrek has done is ignore some of the nonsense design rules (like the "matched nacelle rule") that Roddenberry (not a design artist himsefl) laid down.
And yet, Mr. Roddenberry is the creator of Star Trek, and responsible for its very existence.

That must bug you to no end, lol.
Of course not. You've both produced a logical non sequitur and missed your target completely.

"But like a poor marksman, you keep missing the target."

Come on Dennis, that was the perfect oppurtunity to quote TWOK.

You lose 2 nerd points.

I got a drawer full of pre-war nerd points here somewhere. I'll get by.

Is that you in your avatar? You look like "Farmer Ted" from "Sixteen Candles" in it.

Assuming I'm thinking of the one you are, it had two nacelles on top, connected by a curved rollbar, and two secondary hulls below.
I saw that one too! Two deflector dishes must come in pretty handy

Those are superb!

But, though I like the JJ'ing of the vessels, I very much dislike those old kitbashes, even if they have that updated look.

I'd like to see a JJ'ed version of the more 'recent' oldTrek vessels.

We did see the Farragut and the Hood in the film, only briefly.
