New Transformers RotF Footage SPOILERS

This was posted on Michael Bay's website, and includes a rather terrible (IMO) comedic scene with Bumblebee, Sam, and an undressing Mikaela first, followed by awesome new trailer footage afterward:

So, it looks like we can expect more of the same in the cheesy comedy department, which I can deal with if the trade off is some great action again.

I think it's dumb that they decided to revert Bumblebee back to being unable to speak (though Sam says he's "playing it up") and relying on music to convey his thoughts again.

There was a blink and you'll miss it shot of the completed Devastator rising up from the ground.

That looks so cool. I can't get enough of the first and now this! Can't wait for the DVD.

I watched 2.5 seconds of it...as soon as I heard the Pointer Sisters I was OUT!!!

I will resist the AWESOME and see this on video. I'm not paying $9.50 for musical, racial stereotype robots (I'm still stinging from Jazz)

(OK, the scene needed more undressing though)

The Jazz toy is being rereleased, but recolored as Smokescreen (Who in the original series was a repaint of Bluestreak/Prowl).

I have to admit I'm a lot more excited to see this movie..

I HATED the cartoon in all of its incarnations. I found it childish (what? A cartoon childish? LOL) and rather inane.. I was probably too old for it at the time and was already facinated by anime..

So I resisted going to the first movie, but my son really wanted to see it, so we took him and I really ended up liking a lot..

So needless to say, both of us are really jazzed to see #2 this summer...

The cheeseball stuff with BB doesn't bother me as much as I thought it might.. It's clearly playing up the laughs for the younger crowd and juxtaposed with the seemingly amped up action, I think it will be ok...

G1 Jazz's chest and arms were similar in design to those of Prowl and Smokescreen, but neither Jazz nor Smokescreen was simply a recoloring of the Prowl/Bluestreak mold. Jazz didn't have any waist, leg or head articulation anymore than the others did, but he was a different mold with a very similar design.

I didn't say Jazz was more or less articulated than the others. I merely indicated that it was different, because it was.
