Re: The Photoshop Thread, Part IV
![]() I'm pretty satisfied with how the Doctor and Tuvok came out. Finding a decent image of Chakotay that would work was tough... I think I got a pretty good one, except for the lighting being a bit off. I darkened the hands a bit to more closely match his facial complexion. Getting the head size just right is a bit tricky... I try to judge it by matching the facial features scale with the original. The hand size differences make it difficult as well (head should be small for the foreground hand and large for the background hand). Any suggestions on improvement? |

![]() No body believed Spock when he said they were being watched... they were very, very mistaken. I like the new look to the original style uniforms.

Re: The Photoshop Thread, Part IV
![]() There's something else I'm kind of stuck on... introducing Sisko. I can't figure out how to colorize white skin to brown. I assume that there must be a reasonable way to do it. First, I tried taking a copy of the hands, perform a desaturation, then try to introduce a brownish tone. I couldn't get Photoshop to give me brown tones. I also tried simple hue shifts and darkening... wouldn't work. I then thought about trying a color matching from his facial skin tones, but that seems way too tedious. Any ideas?
