The TV reporter, does 24 need to have this type of slimy character every season? I was expecting first daughter to cry rape and have Aaron blast the reporter away.

They should also stop having sex scenes on this show, since in "real time" they only last 5-10 minutes.

Was this episode a test run to see if 24 could survive with Tony as the lead?
Five-10 minutes is reasonable for a quick one-off, meeting a need. Certainly not long enough for a deep, emotional, love making session. But just to rub uglies and get your rocks off? 10 minutes can do it.

Huh... good idea. I hadn't thought of that possibility.

I'm guessing when Kim is on her way, she'll get stuck in a 7-11 again with more gunmen.
It's okay, I'm sure Agent Walker will arrange for someone to escort Kim safely to the FBI.

Obviously Hodges has worked with Dr. Evil at some point.
I'm surprised Hodges doesn't have a secret swimming pool with sharks with frickin' lasers on their heads.

Or some ill tempered genetically altered sea bass.

Somebody should put Kim, Renee, and Olivia in a tub of pudding and let them settle things the good ol' fashioned way.

The next three hours of 24 will consist of Jack doing everything he can to stay healthy as to avoid his daughter returning.

Average.

As for a compatible donor, couldn't his nephew be compatible as well ? It would save us the return of Kim.

It's more possible he has some severe form of dementia.

Did no one else pick up on the Starkwood/CTU parallel? They're both being dismantled by the govt against their will.

How is it everyone's referring to Tim Guinee as if they've never seen him before? The guy's been in a bunch of stuff. Stargate SG-1, The Lost Room, Strange World.....others. He was even the original Charlie in TSCC before the recast.

Never heard of him. Maybe if he was more than a guest character actor...

Bad, for the second week in a row.

Utterly predictable, dull and uninspiring. The decent early characterisation has been seemingly replaced by cardboard cutouts of everyone in the show.

This could be the weakest run-in to the end of a 24 season ever.

The show had been really good up until a few hours after sundown, as well. Once Meyer died it just became too two-dimensional for my liking.
