Re: I need to watch a "feel good" movie.. what would you suggest?

Mamma Mia! I always end up with a big smile on my face after watching it.

Hairspray (the musical, not the original movie) is a good one, too.

If I just need a laugh, Spaceballs, Airplane!, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Anchorman fit the bill.

The High School Musical movies (no I'm not joking)
Hairspray (the one with John Travolta)
A.I. (even though it has a very sad Happy Ending)

or maybe you want to go with Frank and Jane Drebin's kind of a feel-good movie: Platoon

2012 Doomsday. You'll feel much, much better.... once this one is over.
