that's what I hated about Voyager. It was a Federation ship, but it just oppressively dark. I like dark when it's used well to add texture. I liked it on GEN and DS9 in particular. With DS9 it really suited the station and added to the drama but all it did on Voyager was to make everything so hard to see, and since Voyager and no drama it just sucked.
