Body Swap Episode?

I recall hearing or reading somewhere Patrick Stewart stated that he wished T.N.G. had done a Body Swap Episode during the series run.

What do you think

While I'm Not sure who should SWAP with whom,
I would have had it last more than four episoides

Four episodes? I don't see why a body swap story should last more than sixty minutes. After a while it would get a bit tiresome, and the audience would start wishing for the crew to get back to normal.


For maximum enjoyability, how about:

Picard <--> Guinan
Worf <--> Troi
Data <--> Riker
Crusher <--> LaForge (I'm sure someone can do better than this lame switch.)
Worf <--> Barclay
Wesley <--> Spot

Both of these I think would be funny

They kind of did. Sarek and Picard shared bodies. Picard was impersonated by that species that all looked alike. Picard was possessed by that energy creature in the first season.

I don't think TNG would have satisfactorally mined the whole "body swap thing". I mean, their time loop episode didn't even have wacky hijinks.

Data would have been somewhat impossible, he's a machine.

That Farscape ep rocked! But TNG wouldn't have done it as funny as they did, where each person wore pictures of their real persona in each new body they inhabited. That was hilarious.

If Worf switched bodies with any of the others, would the Worf persona then want to wear his sash? Imagine Patrick Stewart cursing in Klingon, wearing Worf's sash! Or Worf in Data's android body would also be quite amusing, and he'd be the baddest warrior of all!

And the most hilarious, of course, would be Wesley and Worf switching bodies!
