Re: Maquis Rank Pips

I believe the Maquis ranks are what used to be called "brevet" or "provisional" ranks. As captain, Janeway would have the authority to grant such ranks to distinguish them from Startfleet folks who earned their commissions. Also, since both Chakotay and B'Elanna had been in Starfleet, Janeway could justify giving them higher ranks. Tom, of course, had been fully reinstated. -- RR

These Maquis rank pips must be sold somewhere. A friend of mine would like to have one. Anyone have any tips where to find them?

I've seen them on eBay but I don't believe they were ever officially released like the actual rank pips for purchase.

Re: Maquis Rank Pips

I'd have liked to have marquis ranks as well!

I also noticed after the episode Tom Paris did when he disobeyed Janeway's orders under the sea and confined to the brig for 30 days, it wasn't long after that he got promoted again? It wasn't long anyway
