I quite agree that he'd have made an excellent "new" James Kirk. With that profile of his he reminds me of a young Newman. The fact that he has acting chops and then some doesn't hurt one bit. Very intense but can he ever do the comedy.

I'd say Jensen ended up with the better lead role.

Yeah he would hve worked as Kirk, but no way in hell do I want to see him take a major role until his current one is over. Because so far that has been the role of his life.

Well.....some. A little. Not as well as Jensen, definitely not.

EDIT--Another pic or two to make AntonyF happy and prove his point.

That still is from one of Jensen's three best scenes he ever did in Supernatural. He's got five pivotal "moments" in the series. I consider this one of them.

Funny thing is, originally it was all about Dean for me. Sam always had that hurt puppy dog look that made me want to punch him.

Then, sometime around the beginning of S3, suddenly JPad put on about 15 kilos of muscle and I HAVE NOT LOOKED BACK!!!!! The guy was suddenly MASSIVE and CUT at the same time. I am not ashamed to say, his shirtless scenes almost take my breath away. I am a BIG "veins" guy and his arms are........WOW!!!!!!!

My question is, why oh why oh WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do we not see MORE shirtless scenes?!?! I would have thought, in order to try and get even more ratings they'd do more scenes of skin. God knows BOTH boys have the beef!!!!
