![]() But honestly, if someone had heard of them, but hadn't actually heard them, getting the names mixed up wouldn't be that hard... |

Re: Cast the Characters of Trek Literature
![]() And upthread y'all were talking about Reyes. I've always envisioned Tommy Lee Jones in that role. Anyone mentions "Olmos" and "Trek" and I invariably think "Kruge", because he almost was that.

Re: Cast the Characters of Trek Literature
![]() I know of only one other actor who was up for Picard (Stephen Macht, i.e. General Krim from DS9). Are you seriously telling me EJO also was? Anyway. Another good Tommy Lee Jones role would have been Trip's father on ENT. For some reason TLJ seems very Trip-like to me. ![]() Also: Morgan Freeman as Tuvok's father. You *know* you want it.

I'd rather he'd played Tuvok, actually. |

Re: Cast the Characters of Trek Literature
Definitely would have fit better with how the character was conceived. You rarely, if ever, got the centenarian-plus vibe from Tuvok. What a waste. |
