I like her as an actress. As far as looks/sexiness, I had to give a thumbs down. Typical blah blond.

For those disposed to negativity against blondes here's a dark-haired Elizabeth Mitchell in Frequency:

She does look better as a brunette. Much better.

I had forgotten that she was the one in Frequency. Great movie!

She's still got that quirky smile, no matter what.

^ A lot of people here are unable to separate the character from the actress when voting. Just ask Kristen Kreuk. When Elisha Cuthbert was a GBOW, someone even commented "Stupid Kim" with his thumbs down vote.
I can see past the character, but I don't vote just on looks. I don't particularly like Kristin Kreuk very much, especially not as an actress so I would vote thumbs down for her. That's not to say I don't think she's a beautiful woman.

On the other hand, Elizabeth Mitchell here perhaps isn't as conventionally physically attractive as, say, Kreuk or Cuthbert but I like her more because I like her as a person and as an actress.

I fully appreciate that I'm probably a bit unusual here. I'm one of the few who gave Parker Posey an unreserved thumbs up (I love her, I want to marry her and buy her nice things). My kind of women are people like Posey, Kari Byron, Cali Lewis, Veronica Belmont etc.

OK, watching Gia on HBO in my teen years is a very fond memory, but that was all Angelina Jolie... who is actually a beautiful woman.

This chick? They could cast her as the Joker to replace Heath Ledger, and save on the makeup.

Okay, you don't find her attractive, but is it necessary to be so disrespectful ?

Anyone deemed "worthy" of their own GBotW thread is likely to be several leagues above anyone on TrekBBS.

The only thing that possibly proves, is that Elizabeth Mitchell's facial features are somewhat similar to Heath Ledger's.

The whole idea of this kind of thread isn't terribly respectful towards women.

^The girls have got their own threads. Besides, I don't think there's a problem with celebrating the beauty of women as long as we don't start calling women "ugly" because they're aren't 100% perfect.

[kevin]It's not "would you do her?", it's "is she hot?"[/kevin]
Really though, she's just not that attractive, and there's something about that goofy grin that is seriously unsettling. Trying to call her a 'genre babe of the week' seems a little bit of a stretch when the average Stargate episode has two random villagers that look better than her.

52% of people give this woman the thumbs up, what in god's name would it take them to vote even 'sideways'? It reminds me of the people calling Enterprise and Voyager 'Excellent' each week no matter how horrible the episode was.

Come on, "thumbs up" - "thumbs down"?...

But I didn't say I disapprove anyway.
