"Sometimes a Great Notion" Live Commentary

Welcome to the live commentary thread for Battlestar Galactica 4x11: "Sometimes a Great Notion".
***SPOILERS AHEAD***

"Sometimes a Great Notion"

"Kara struggles with the foreboding prediction of the Cylon Hybrid, while Adama and the Colonial fleet face despair over their shocking discovery." - TV.com

* According to Katee Sackhoff, this episode could have served as the series finale had further episodes not been made due to the writers' strike.

* Before you watch this episode, be sure to catch the 10-part webisode series "The Face of the Enemy" if you haven't already. It's available to American viewers at Sci Fi Channel's website and on amazon.com. It's on YouTube as well. Canadian viewers can watch the full series on SPACE just before the premiere. You can discuss the webisodes here.

Re: "Sometimes a Great Notion" Live Commentary

I'm watching a 4 hour block of BSG right now. Just saw "Revelations" again, then two half-hour documentaries. Now I'm about to watch the webisodes on TV, then the premiere. I've never seen the webisodes, so it's like two new hours of BSG.

Hey all, just watching Revelations again and the Saul Tigh/Adama scene where he outs himself still awes me after a year. Those two could teach a class on acting.

It hasn't been a year. "Revelations" aired in June. Its only been seven months.

Lee and Zak are the final Cylons. You heard it here first.

What if there was a miscount and there are actually 13 cylon models. That would be an interesting twist.

I'm to scared to do anything else during the show; I'm afraid I'll miss something. Computer going off, phone on vibrate, eyes incessantly on the TV.

That rounds, you know.

Anyway, it feels like a year.

Any race of machines that can't count to 12 properly is way less intimidating.
