Seriously, kids, NO HOTLINKING. Review your TrekBBS Rules:

...You should only include inline images from web space that you own, or with the permission from the web master on which the image is located to avoid what results in costly bandwidth theft to the originating site owner. Instead, please post a link to the image.
Or save the image you like to your hard drive, then upload it to the image hosting site of your choice (photobucket, imageshack, etc), then post your own inline image when you want to use it. Easy as cake. Okay?

Really, don't make me come over there.

Now--on to more pleasant things! HDNet began airing the Vulcan arc today. Mindmelds! Surak! Pick-up basketball! Soval! Shran!

Those NX-01 caps turn up in Season 4...a little worse for wear.

An adorable shot of Linda during a rehearsal of the pickup game.

Goofing on the set.

Syrran...mysterious, intimidating...

...or maybe not so much.

And there's T'Pol in white.

Photobucket is free, and it is easy to set up an account there, the same as ImageShack and ImageBam, both of which offer uploading without registration, thumbnailing, coding for both UBB and HTML, and will let you organize images into galleries if you do register with them.

There is no excuse for bandwidth theft.

Remember the No Hotlinking rule, gang...
I saw that. What is hotlinking? (I'm a geek, but I'm not talented one).

That would be linking to pictures (as well as other kind of material) hosted on other peoples websites, without their permission, thus stealing bandwidth. Just upload the pic you want to post to photobucket, imageshack, tinypic etc. (like HR and CX said), and all will be fine...

^^ So you mean when someone uses the "quote" function and posts another copy of a photo?

Re: The ENTERPRISE picture thread

^no.

Say you found a pic on google. You like this pic. You want to post it to the good ol' TBBS. So you click on the pic in google, and copy the url of it to post it in a picture thread. You would therefore be 'hotlinking' it; using someone else's site (and bandwith) who is hosting that pic.

Instead, when you want that pic to post here, you need to right click save and host it on photobucket, or another site that is yours.

Comprende?

Alrighty then! Now that we're all clear on the No Hotlinking issue, let's get back to the picture posting.

Re: hotlinking. OK, thanks. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't doing something wrong without realizing...

Here's some more cool stuff:

Re: The ENTERPRISE picture thread

As you may have figured out, I love behind-the-scenes pictures. Here's another, from the set of "Marauders."

My favorite ENT episode, "Observer Effect," airs on HDNet today, so here are some production stills from that show...

John Billingsley and director Mike Vejar

More Hoshi pictures...

And another behind-the-scenes picture. This one is from "Impulse," I believe.
