Re: TnT: If The Ship is A Rockin'...Don't Come Knockin'!

I was watching Desert Crossing yesterday. I liked the fact that T'Pol stood up to Zobral and said he was responsible to what happened to Archer and Trip.

I have to agree with CX. That catsuit was just plain bad for the eyes...

And don't you think that you can bring me here just by posting Trip pictures 'cause...

...ok, fine, yes you can... No wonder T'Pol couldn't resist...

Thought I'd post this up for rai75: Trip/T'Polers Shipper's Guide. It has most if not all the 'shipper stuff I can think of in it, so anyone who wants to know about TnT more should be able to get a pretty good feel of what it's about.
What is a "shipper"? I never heard that term before coming here.

Oh my, that term has been 'round as long as the internet!

A 'shipper is short for relationship, as in a fan of the preferred relationship of the t.v. show. My first experience with 'shipping was in an X-Files message board a long time ago! (late 90s I think)

Now my current 'ship of choice is Bill/Sookie on True Blood

Thanks. Before coming here I had never hung around a forum about a show. This is a diversion from my normal world of creating music and playing games, and forums about those pastimes.

Ah..Desert Crossing.. for some reason I like that episode!

I wonder why ......

And as for T'Pol's catsuit, the one she wore in Marauders was definitely an improvement....

I've always liked Desert Crossing.I really like those pictures. And T'Pol and Trip I liked that scene from Marauders when he comments about T'Pol's Vulcan hearing. She definitely looked better wearing the white catsuit.

I think my favorite pic so far is the one of Archer and Trip smiling on the sand! Love their smiles! Thanks to everyone for posting the pics!

Are you speaking of Lightspeed? I buzzed by their website, and WOW, the artwork they're featuring is niiiiiice. Along with Connor, there will be Dom Keating, Anthony Montgomery, Jeff Combs, Gary Graham... Please, if this is where you're going next week, take many, many pictures for the less fortunate, will you?

Looking forward to your 50th post here, and then the pictures.

Here's another behind-the-scenes shot of Connor I posted a while back in the Trip thread. It's one of my favorites.

And we can't forget Trip and T'Pol...

Lovely pictures, HR, as usual.

Meanwhile, I'm happy 'cause YouTube has all my TnT videos available again. They used to have some sort of restriction on "In the sun" and on some I had as favorites, but they're back on line.

Holiday Romantic. I am going to be picky here. but the DC photo of
Trip and Jon do you notice that Trip looks as if he is about three inches or so shorter than Jon. In the other photos he is about the same height.

If you look at Trips feet you can see a trough at each foot which makes Trip stand lower than Jon and trip is turned so he looks smaller than Jon who is shown face on. May be just the way the photo was taken but those small trenches at Trips feet making him look shorter than JOn makes me wonder.

Re: TnT: If The Ship is A Rockin'...Don't Come Knockin'!

Bakula is 6'0". Trinneer has said he stands just under 5'11".

Camera angle and posture (or standing on sand, as in DC) can affect the perceived height of actors.

Jolene Blalock, who is 5'5", wore heels on the show. And she was often put on an apple box in close-ups with Bakula or Trinneer to give her some artificial "height" in order to facilitate better camera angles.

walking shot - accurate height difference

static close-up: less height difference

I had not noticed until now, but it looks like Bakula is almost standing on his toes in that shot. Look at the angle of his fee.
