She seems to be in the process of transitioning from being an androgynous teen to potentially a knockout woman, but it's thumbs sideways for now.
Exactly my feelings. I said a few posts up that in 5 years she may be hot, but not yet.

I wonder why we got her this week instead of next when Twilight opens? Until the hint in the prior GBOW I thought we'd get a QOS Bond girl for sure.

Thumbs way up. She was sex-on-wheels in Into the Wild. And I loved her in In The Land of Women and her two seconds of screentime was my favorite part of Jumper. I'm only seeing Twilight because of her. She's got that natural pout. Something about girls with bitchface that sends me to the moon.

In Jumper was that her at the end, with the mother? I stand corrected then I've seen her twice and only once did I actually know who I was seeing. She was still "nameless gal #2478" when I saw Jumper.

No doubt Olga Kurylenko would be faring a whole lot better in the voting.

She's 18, how can people say "too young"? Are you all grandfathers or something?

I feel kind of weird voting for a teenager.

A tentative thumbs up.

Sometimes a teen comes along and you just gotta be honest with yourself. Sometimes it's creepy. I think if the teen celeb is known for their maturity it's okay. If they're a teenybopper then that crosses the line.

Okay: Kristen Stewart

Not Okay: The Olsen Twins

Okay: Dominique Swain in Lolita & Face/Off

Not Okay: Brittany Spears circa "Hit Me Baby (One More Time)"

Okay: Christina Aguilera circa "Genie in a Bottle"

Not Okay: Miley Cyrus (IT'S STILL A FELONY!!)

Okay: Scarlett Johanssen in Ghost World

Not Okay: Lindsay Lohan in Freaky Friday

Okay: Hayden Panittierre circa the "Save the Cheerleader..." phase of Heroes

Not Okay: Emma Watson or Bonnie Wright

So on-the-line that it's mind blowingly wrong yet makes so much sense: Natalie Portman in Beautiful Girls.

No, but she could easily be my daughter. My oldest is one year younger.

After a bit of thought between sideways and down, I went with down.

She's so skinny. And she has that super model type of face, and I don't mean that in a good way....it's too pointy and manly.

Re: Kristen Stewart: Genre babe of the week #47 (Nov. 2008)

Hint for the next GBOW (don't give a direct answer):

"Why’d you come back?"
"Waiting for you."
"I told you before, I can’t help you."
"Well we need to go and help these people, we’re here to make a difference, we believe all lives are special."
"Some lives, some not."
"Really? If everyone thought like you, nothing would ever change."
"Nothing does change."
"Of course it does! Nothing stays the same."
"Live your life cause you’ve got a good one."
"It’s what I’m trying to do!"
"No, what you’re trying to do is change what is."
"And what is?"
"Go home."

And coming on Monday -- the bracket.
