Interesting, not bad but I know there's going to be a slew of comments coming in from those who are much more familiar with this stuff.

Those nacelles are MUCH better than what I've sene hypothesized. Wish that engineering hull was thicker much further back than what it is.

Total meh. I was expecting much worse, but hoping for much better. The nacelles are ass. The whole ship itself looks like someone tried re-doing the movie-era ship. There is nothing there reminding me of the TV series one.

^^^ Nevermind I forgot about Wormhole.

I don't like the chrome Nacelle tips a little pimp my ride, but it LOOKS like a derivative of the Constitution class.. And I TOLD YOU they'd get a new actor to play the ship. Here she is..

Problem is, it looks more advanced than the refit.

    Is that for real?
The saucer is just the saucer. Same as before.

But the drive section??? :wtf: Horrendous!

It's different. I'll get used to it. But this is not quite what I expected.

My first reaction was a little mixed, but not nearly so much so as when I first saw a magazine photo of Picard's Enterprise - and I got to like that one real quickly.

And yeah - while this fits several of the descriptions I'd heard of what the ship would look like, it's much better than what I pictured based on those descriptions...

Do you think Kirk had those oversized exhaust tips installed? :)

I dislike it, not because it doesn't look like the original, but because it just looks bad. Where's the friggin' sombrero?

If that's all CG, it looks pretty good!

I'm not sure about the redesign. It looks great as a stand-alone creation, but it's definitely different than the series's ship. Which was expected.

It'll probably have a variety of looks when seen from the different angles, like the other Enterprises (especially D) did.

Then again, for all we know, this is could be a different class of Enterprise (like the NX, Galaxy, Sovereign, etc.)

Man, there's a lot of Trek news today! :)

Mmm. It's a mixed reaction for me, primary and secondary hulls good, nacelles not so much. But I am prepared to accept it, because at the end of the day, the Enterprise wasn't what people tuned in to watch. A new ship for a new start to an ailing franchise.

    Yeh, I like it. :)
