Empire Magazine pics! - Page 2

So...is this one of those 3 dark insets "below" the bridge module? So the (traditional) bridge dome structure is now something else, or...? Perhaps this expanded bridge set will feature all 3 of those "window-slits".
(please forgive the crude deckplan crop...I was bored)

Would be silly if it's a window. Or perhaps it is a viewscreen which happens to include part of the hull visible from that particular camera. Just throwing that out there! -- RR

It may be a window, or it could be that they are showing the angle from the bridge which shows part of the saucer.

If this is the case I always thought they should do that, same as showing the engines when showing a rear view (which they started doing in Voyager and Nemesis, unless they showed that view some other time which I havent noticed)

Im hoping this is what they are doing, especially seeming it looked like the Kelvin had no such window at the front meaning how did they see outside

In the "far" pic of the Kelvin, there appears to be a front dark slit flanked by small round shapes....perhaps a "windshield" with "portholes" on either side...

I personally love the massive window look. It opens the bridge up a lot more. Hopefully it will feel less like a set and seem more like they're actually in space.

Just as I suspected. Kirk is in a blue/sciences space suit. Harold is in a gold/command space suit and the redshirt is in a red/operations space suit.

Well, I think it's a window with capability to show images as well.

Can this pic be from a time Kirk was serving on another ship?

I could just be that the harness is blue and not part of a uniform. It looks like both Kirk and Sulu are actually wearing black.

Nah, Kirk is originally in sciences. Kirk and Spock have a lot of classes together. The stack of books with legs shows command ability during some mission and switches to the command track.

Hadnt noticed that before, then again wasnt really giving it too much attention.

Seems like theres going to be some interesting new concepts then, I wonder if it will be like judexavier's conceptual cross section and the bridge will be on deck two and not deck one...either that or the thing is huge.

Guess will have to take a look at the new Empire when it comes out, see if theres any more photos in there and any talk about them.
