That looks horrendous.

How about for the blue, we go with something orangy but blue like blue curacao:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cura%C3%A7ao_liqueur

Curaçao is a liqueur flavored with the dried peels of the laraha citrus fruit, grown on the island of Curaçao. A non-native plant similar to an orange
Blue Curacao
more

You get the orange flavor of the screwdriver, the blue of the sonic effect, and you can add bananas...

(OR you could just add food color to orange juice. (Green to make blue, right?)

Still, maybe need something more....?
...Yeah, a blue LED in the neck of the glass to make it glow. Beats olives, and itll look damn cool.

I'd go with 1 ounce blue curacao 1 ounce of vodka and 1 of gin which goes well with citrus flavours, and is nicely british.

Served in a cocktail glass and garnish with a stalk of celery. Always served with a companion shot of 1 ounce Banana Liqueur and 1/2 ounce triple sec.

Or if you're drinking hard, make it a highball and add tonic water, drop the companion into the glass and down'er in one gulp.

I'd have to actually make the drinks to play with proportions.

Nah, Romulan Ale either has rum, everclear, or both depending on the recipe, not Vodka.

My non-fan co-worker & I came upon some Doctor Who books. He made some comment about a ray gun. I said, "More like a Sonic Screwdriver." He thought that a Sonic Screwdriver sounds like a drink. It got us to thinking, if a Sonic Screwdriver was a drink, what would be in it?

My friend says vodka, orange, & some kind of energy drink like Red Bull.

What do you reckon would be in a Sonic Screwdriver?
i envision it as a kind of long island iced tea but with caffeine overload. it'll screw you up and drive you up the wall leaving you drunk and jittery.
