I'll allow crossovers but not a story that's completely non-Trek. Keep it in the Trek universe somehow - but it certainly doesn't have to be consistent with canon.

Yes, I think so - just so long as the story does involve some belief that they are paranormal/supernatural, even if they're proved to be natural by the end.

I know Trek isn't really a universe that has much time for the supernatural, since they have the technology to prove most things otherwise, but I figure there's still room for people to believe in ghosts and things that go bump in the night.

Both those stories immediately came to mind when I read this challenge. I was concerned that my initial ideas where too close to either one to be considered original.

I almost wish I could enter my current Bluefin story, "Ghost in the Machine." Unfortunately, it's much too long and probably won't be finished by Halloween.

I do have an idea for a short story, but I don't know if I'll have time to flesh it out. I'm looking forward to the entries - I love a good ghost story!

STAR TREK; FINAL REVISION

The reason I did it in 'report' form was because I had never seen one done as a 'report'. So, not a traditional story. Who ever said I was traditional???
