They should have gone with Dharma instead of Massive Dynamic.

By the way, here's their website.

I voted Above Average. I wasn't too interested in the entire scientific aspect of the show until halfway through. I found the dynamics between Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble, and Lance Riddick to be far more interesting. The show has potential and I'm looking forward to watching more.

Wow. The line between reality and mediocre t.v. shows gets blurrier all the time.

It was okay. Not sure I can stomach Joshua Jackson every week, though.

Also, somebody needs to be wearing fringe...I think.

A couple things that annoyed me...

- our heroine just HAD to be in her underwear? Yeah, OK.

- The lab assistant sure seemed pretty willing to go through all that stuff (ordering a cow without having a cow???)...is she an X-Files fanatic or something?

- the boyfriend seemed to heal at a STar Trek pace!

i am sure there's more...but that stuck out at me.

Average. It held my interest but didn't blow me away. And some things were downright annoying. Peter's constantly insulting quips to his father got old fast. And would anyone really let a seemingly dangerous lunatic they've only known a day or two put a needle in their brain? Really? I find that pretty hard to believe. The only character I find even remotely interesting is Noble's.

I'll give it a couple more episodes, but unless enough other aspects of the show can hook me, I can't see myself wasting years watching the "Pattern" slowly unfold.

Maybe it ties into "LOST". Maybe all the people on the plane had the diesease and it was shot at and went down. Then they landed on the island, which will later be connected with another new JJ series.

Or maybe not.

I thought it was okay. It really started grabbing my attention in the last 30 minutes. The twist was unexpected and welcome though I'm sorry to see Mark Valley go. He never seems to get steady work.

So far, I don't think this show is living up to the new X-Files type, though it has set up some potentially interesting plots. I'm thinking about checking out the encore on Sunday and giving it another shot before I pass final judgment.

"redundancy"

I think I spotted an accent slip

"who says it's terrorism?"

*music builds up like Lost*

all that was missing was the "DUM!" that Lost uses to cut to commericals or end the episode heh
Yeah, I noticed that too.

Above Average, I'll give it a chance to completely hook me. I see that they're going with a developing mystery, but we'll have to see if I'll continue to watch it.

I thought it was a pretty enjoyable start for a new show. I'll be watching it again next week. Soon I'll have NCIS, Fringe, Eureka (11 rerun) and the Daily Show/Colbert Report on Tuesday nights.

Well according to the dialog they were going to get her naked but the FCC doesn't allow that kind of thing on the network TV.

I saw the pilot a few months ago. Then read they'd made changes and watched it again. I couldn't see a single change. I thought it sucked. Bad. The show would have had so much mystery if it had just started with the FBI turning up to the airport and finding this plane, and piecing it all together. But everything was blown in the opening scene. There was zero tension when the FBI showed up. The characters were all two dimensional cliches. And mostly they were talking heads. Won't be tuning in again. Doubt this show will last.

The plane wasn't an Oceanic was it?

I found it interesting that "dark matter" was listed twice in the main titles. A hint about just what defines the Pattern?

Is he really gone though? I guess listing him among the main cast and having him in the promo shots would be great misdirection, as opposed to the "guest star" who seems to have a lot to do in the pilot so you know he or she isn't long for the show.

Were they going to reanimate him at the end? Or do the brain wave communication thing?

Plus there was that scene from the future episodes montage.
