1) The black holes couldn't be created in the ocean.
2) The black holes if created wouldn't last long enough.
3) We'd be better off simply storing the water somewhere we can get to it if we need it in the future rather than destroying it in a black hole.

I've got it! We freeze a bunch of water into ice, and float it off somewhere harmless. Maybe one of the poles.

Grand canyon ain't nearly big enough to hold the amount of dirt that would be required. Even if there were an economical way to get it there.

Perhaps you should leave these problems to the experts.

The Grand Canyon was a joke. All dirt will be piled up into a huge mountain in central Greenland.

We nuke Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan into the ground (giving innocent people the chance to flee first), then keep bombing it until it's really deep; the border line in the south connecting Iraq and Iran leads directly into the Indian ocean, so it would all come flooding in to fill.

Then we fill in the Grand Canyon, and any other crevices. ;-)
