Well, it's not really a spoiler as much as speculation.

Scylla is the name of the electronic "black book" of The Company (tm)

Scylla is also a Greek mythological monster that had 6 heads. Supposedly, Odysseus had to sacrifice 6 of his men to get past Scylla.

It was heavily hinted that such might be the case with this "Prison Break" scenario.


Let's say that rang true. Who would be the top 6 to be knocked off to fulfill this "prophecy", if it were to happen...

Seemed to me the "sacrafice six" dealt with the code or whatever being on six different drives, rather than one, and not how many are going to die.

Maybe I need to watch it again.

Though I also suspect Linc will sacrifice himself to save Michael in the finale. After all, what is the point of Linc's character at this point? The muscle?

Since this is the final season, way the ratings have been going, it’s fairly easy to figure out who lives and who dies.

Michael, Linc and Sarah live, since they are important main characters. LJ and Sofia live, since there’s no reason to kill them.

Michael kills T-Bag; Sarah kills Gretchen (unless she has a last minute change of heart, but my Magic 8 Ball says she gets over that and kills the beeotch anyway). Linc kills Mahone for offing Daddy.

Sucre and Bellick are sorta comic relief at this point, which means they live.

Self and the Asian technie are unimportant characters who can live or die, doesn’t much matter. I’m happy to off both of them.

Since this is all drearily predictable, I’ll toss in a real wild-card death for the final episode. Why not Michael himself? The one you least expect.

Mahone
Gretchen
Self
Asian techie

They got the first drive without sacrificing anyone on their team (unless you count Whistler? but he wasn't on the team) so I'm not taking that literally.

My choices:
Mahone: They just took away his hope for life, so he's on a death wish...and have one last shot at redemption.
Gretchen: Now that she (will probably) be on our hero's side, she'll die redeeming herself
Bellick: He's just too stupid & fearful to not get himself killed
Roland the Asian techie: PB this season will follow the rule of the minority getting killed (especially a relatively minor one; Sucre's got too much to live for, and has been around too long to die)
Donald Self: not sure actually if he'll die...but why not. It might be something last minute, where the guys might have to go on the run again...
Season 1: i am thinking someone like C-Note might be brought back.


Don't know why i didn't select T-Bag. After all this time -- he has GOT to die. But i think it will be his own doing, not by our heroes. He might cross paths with a former victim of his (or a relative of said victim), and THEY will suddenly kill him (if not hunt him down near the end of the season).

Michael, Linc, and Sara are safe. It would be incredibly lame to kill off Sara after bringing her back.

Mahone is going to go out in a blaze of glory getting vengeance or to redeem himself saving the others (or both). He doesn't even want to live any more except to live long enough to get revenge.

I think LJ and Sofia are pretty much safe. LJ being in trouble as a motivator has been overdone so they'll probably just be minor players this seasons.

T-Bag is such an important adversary and part of the humor of the show that I doubt he'll die, but he sure does have it coming. He'll find a way to survive in the end.

Bellick and Sucre do indeed provide comic relief, but they're also fairly expendable plot wise. Bellick dying probably wouldn't be a huge guilt trip on Michael like they always try to do, but Sucre would. So I wouldn't be surprised if one of them ended up dead.

Gretchen's got to die. Sara's going to kill her.

Asian hacker dude and the FBI agent just have dead man walking written all over them. FBI agent guy will die just when they think they've reached their moment of triumph in taking the Company down and the rug is pulled out from under them by killing the only FBI guy who knows what they're up to.

What I meant was, that was the code to tell them that there are six drives. The Company split the infro among the six drives. They "sacraficed six" of their men For the good of the whole.

Playing along, though....

Michael, Sara, Linc and Sucre all must live. They're pretty much the only characters that need to live to give the series a "happy ending" (along with LJ and.... what's her name. But right now they're hardly imporatnt characters.)

Mahone and Bellick are extra weight, but killing Bellick would be silly as he's just a pathetic lug. Mahone has little to keep him alive in the story line.

Playing along, we could also reason that the killings/deaths of Tweener, Abruzzi, Westmorland/DB Cooper and maybe even Haywire could count in the sacrafices as they died all as part of the plan to get us to this point.

That presumes that Michael's father and the people who created the Scylla security system somehow are able to intuit that six people will die trying to defeat the system.

You guys are taking the "sacrifice" part too literally. It was simply that the Company assigned six of their people to guard the Scylla code.

The weird reference for me was when baldy offered the Scylla guard a number as a form of payment, and he said "10,000 people?" and then said that would be acceptable after some soul searching as if it weighed on his conscience.

What does that mean? A number of people who will be killed in an attack? A number of slave labor workers? A number of people they're conducting medical testing on? I hope they follow up on that soon.

I took it to mean it was for a 9/11 style attack -that's the suggestion I got. Based mostly around the 9/11 conspiracies. Maybe such conspiracies aren't carried out by our government but by "The Company" to direct government/the nation/their interests in the direction they want.

In the second season finale I believe, they showed General Padman coming out of a military medical iso-lab. So I'm thinking the ten thou dead will involve a military virus being unleashed on a civilian populace.

I hadn't thought of a 9/11 thing, but that does make sense. Release military virus on America, blame Middle East / Russia, go to war with them, make money.
