Re: Sports video memories
Yep, the ball-girl catch was fake. Speeaking of ball-girls. I remember watching a game where a ball girl was nearly hit by a line drive, and the announcers were worried about ehr safety and getting hurt. Can't find the clip

I remember it from 2000 ... it was great to be an Australian. Ian Thorpe's swim was amazing, down half a body length on Hall Jr, and came back and won. The salute afterwards was awesome too.

On a lighter note, probably the greatest Winter Olympics moment so far this century: 2006 Womens Snowboard Cross Final Worth it for the BBC commentary alone.

The Rundown George Teague runs down Lamar Thomas and takes the ball away from him as Alabama wins the game and National Championship. and just for good measure, (and because I saw it on youtube), The Goal Line Stand that won the 1978 National Championship.

One of the greatest Husker moments ever. (Not too many announcers like Lyell Bremser still left in the world...)

Re: Sports video memories
High school football game, the tight end catches the ball in the air but is going to fall outof bounds at the back fo the end zone. While in the air, he catches the ball and pitches it back to a teammate who is legally in bounds in said end zone. Touchdown!
