Oh, I wouldn't say that around Worf.

Re: what does Star Trek food taste like?

I always wondered why the food shown in TOS was always that weird pastiche of colored blocks and stuff like that. Couldn't they take 10 minutes to whip up some real food?

Oh well. I have a hankering for Cardassian food, it seems:

sem'hal stew: Dinty Moore

larish pie: None Such

taspar egg: Eggs Benedict

I always wondered what Kirk's Chicken sandwich would have looked like if the Tribble hadn't come out. I am not sure I want to go near some blue or green chicken.

In the first season on ENT, they're constantly eating and/or drinking something. What's up with that? Watching these shows make me quite hungry. No wonder I've gained 15 pounds over the summer. I blame ENT.

Back in the "olden days" before MREs and microwaves... all those colored blocks were supposed to look like "future space food". It only looks silly NOW.
p.s.- I miss None Such/mincemeat pie... haven't had any since I found out I'm diabetic.
