You know, having a second look at the track list it seems like a lot of the best stuff has been omitted.

Yeah there is a ton of great stuff still missing...much like the Angel soundtrack...but still for the price tag there are a few nice ones included in the disc. I would've liked a two disc set with music from the entire span of the series but I'm not complaining.

I still need to get Radio Sunnydale at the moment, I'll just get both together when the new one is released, see if Amazon does an offer or something.

(I assume "Close Your Eyes" is missing because it was on some other soundtrack?)

Yup, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Album". Just checking my media player and yeah Track 18.

It's missing a large chunk of score from the Seaosn 2 and Season 3 score promos, but does offer up a heap of new stuff from Season 4 & 5. Beck won an Emmy, as I recall, for his work. He said he thought he didnt' deserve it, but also wasn't giving it back.
