Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

I have to say, the creative forces in this thread have been fantastic. I just can't believe how we have got to here. I love the way we are constantly driving each other forward.
I f*cking love this thread.
Someone has to raise the bar. I want JJ in a Sombrero. I'll take anyone Star Trek related in a sombrero.
Or Shatner in a Pez costume.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?
Hey you know it is possible (and perhaps not too late) for Abrams to put a nod to the Sombreroprise in the movie.
Kind of like Brett Ratner, Stan Lee et. al. did for the Juggernaut in X-Men the Last Stand.
"Don't you know who I am??? I'm the Juggernaut, Bitch!!!"
Only serious internet junkies knew that reference, but it KILLED.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?
Boredom caused me to create this on the spore creature creator. I saw the one part and thought, "my damn that would make a good sombrero", then decided to make a sombreroprise like creature. Unfortunately I could not produce any Shatner head nacelles or a menora, but I still chuckle every time I look at this fella.

I am so filled with pride that I can barely speak! Pride for all of you and your incredible work. This just gets better and better.
I daresay that, in the end, I will have received more enjoyment from this thread than I could ever possibly receive from Star Trek XI, no matter how good it is.
And I will wear my sombrero with pride at Comic-Con in a few weeks.
And don't stop now.
The Sombrero Adventure Continues...

And just for the heck of it:

Anthony, Jon1701 & Gep Malakai -
I was wondering if I could put the Sombreroprse video on my website ncc1701shipyard.com. I would host the high quality version from my domain (not embedded from YouTube) because I have lots of available bandwidth. Let me know and once again, great job!

How do you get the blur effect on the legs (This is another idea I had that you did first)?

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?
It was funny. I saw it a few days ago and called the husband over to watch. He was laughing too.
But all those are involved are banned for not getting T'Bonz in there somehow. Ingrates.
