In fact, they prevented Terra from being devastated.
Although the fact there are other huge civilisations of humans rather detracts from the premise does it not?

The original was never brilliant but it totally jumped the shark when Devon Miles turned up.

Excellent. All I can say is: Where do we go from here?

This would have been such a "fuck you" if it had been the final episode. I think the writers wrote themselves into corner. Hopefully the final ten episodes won't drag out and won't just be talking.

Frankly, I'm surprised we didn't get more angst aimed at Kara.

HELO: *This* is Earth?
TIGH: We outed ourselves for this frakkin' rock?
GAETA: I LOST MY FOOT FOR THIS SHIT?
KARA: Oops.

Give it time. There's plenty of time left for them to direct some hostility towards Kara.

I hope so. Pretty much through this year, I wish she had stayed dead. Much more than annoying.

And, what will it be with only 12 episodes to go in the story?

I think it's 11 actually.

Wait, that reminds me: Is [Deanna] ever going to tell [Baltar] what he was right about? Those were her last words in the Temple of Five.
Well he did wonder if he was a Cylon.

P.S. Sorry about the late bump, but I just saw this last week and it took me this long to read through the thread.

By the way, I think we have to be careful about judging a show like this as it winds down. As you approach the last show and more clues are provided by the writers, the massive speculation is bound to hit on the right conclusion. Then when we see we were right, we get all disappointed that the last episode didn't blow us out of our socks. If the writers play fair with the audience, it's only logical that everything will come together and the ending will be less a surprise than a confirmation.

The same thing happened with Harry Potter and will happen with Lost. It has to in a series whose modus operandi is to lay down clues.
