Can a merry Christmas be blue, too? On Andor, do they read "A Christmas Crayola?" What color is an Andorian Smurf?? This month, the challenge was to make a blue Christmas a joyous thing - to celebrate the holidaze with our antennaed friends from the Indigo Cluster. And all that while trying to tackle the challenges of our own Christmas preparations - not an easy task at all. But we came through! This month, the forum is azured of a competition, and now it's time to cast the first votes of the Blue Year. The winner gets to name the challenge for January - no doubt, his mood will be anything but blue . =========================== Klaus -------------- Ptrope -------------- Starscape
I kinda hate Peanuts, but i voted for Starscape anyhow, cause I thought it was clever. Something about Klaus's entry seemed weirdly sinister to me... besides his usual point-loser for me, which is always the extreme shininess. But otherwise it was clever idea also. I almost voted for Ptrope, as I like the "cut-out" vector-art style, but something I can't quite put my finger on makes the image seem a bit ununified. I think maybe I would want the big blue planet to be made out of hard edged shaped like the landscape below.... I dunno... Starscape's just seemed the be the best this time around. Great Job! I can't wait to see what this month's challenge will be! --Alex
Wow, I must have struck a chord with my entry. Thanks to everyone for voting! I'll have the new challenge thread up soon.
i would've voted for Klaus, had i saw this in time However, all the entries were great (Starscape's was a very close 2nd for me).
