* Nice to see Liu coming out of her shell more. And both their wardrobes are fascinating. * Like Christopher, loved the scene in Bell's apt where he asked her to 'complete' him . Very nicely done. And nice to see Bell get a bit more character development. * Hope Holmes Snr remains a mystery and off-screen * As others mentioned, Rees seems a wasted guest spot, so also like idea he could be Mycroft. * Re: BC as Moriarty, another fun one could be Jude Law, as he and Miller also have history . Or Sean Pertwee? Wonder if any actors have played both Holmes or Watson and Moriarty? (too lazy to google). Also like the Hugh Laurie suggestion someone made. Would be nice to see him play 'bad'.
Plan? Who knows? Kinda worked for Maris. And...what's Mr Carlyle doing? Would like to see his Moriarty.
Maris was an intentional duplication. In an attempt to disguise their indenticality one was ineffably thin and polarily the other was not inconsiderably girthy. Hell, it was the same gaggle of producers even.
Games of Thrones' Natalie Dormer has landed a multi-episode arc as Spoiler: ??? Irene Adler on the CBS series, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively: tvguide
Very interesting, especially because a past episode revealed Spoiler: !!! Irene Adler was killed by Moriarty
Yeah, I guess Spoiler: ### Holmes' relationship with Adler, which in addition to being fodder for scholars and novelists over the decades, has also been a focal point of the Robert Downey Jr. films and an episode of Moffat's "Sherlock" was too good to pass up.
The bodies were drained of blood, and then thrown in the ocean (the Thames?) whereafter some bodies were found, and others where not. The only thing incontrovertible was the blood pool left behind in the domicile of the victim. She might not have been found? It's just a question where you get 8 pints other blood without the lady dying? Stockpiling a surplus or a massive circular transfusion? (Or is Moriarty behind the people who invented making blood?)
Morriarty could have kidnapped her, taken a pint every couple of days and used it as required when enough was collected. Or Adler could've staged it all herself to throw someone off...
I wonder if Dormer will be playing Adler as an American or as a Brit. Canonically, Irene Adler is an opera singer from New Jersey. Lara Pulver's Adler was very much not that. Rachel McAdams' Adler was. Hence, my curiosity. I wonder which way Elementary will go.
If Moriarty wanted to fuck with Holmes, why not send a new woman into his life ALSO called Irene Addler? Give her a very long fuse. Have this Irene hang out in Sherlock's company for 7 or 8 episodes, Sherlock gets comfortable, forgetting that she's a fricking Trojan horse, coming to value her even more than Watson in so long as she hasn't yet turned into a sprung trap and she is following orders to be extremely helpful.
For what it's worth, the actress is British. But then, so are quite a few of the actors playing Americans on US television these days.
