I think $9.99 is a fair price to spend to make my mother laugh, agreed? You see, she, my sisters, and I are all on the same Kindle account so that we can share all our books across Kindles. I heard tell of a book that I thought might be interesting, it's a history that Stephen Fry mentioned on an episode of QI, and I really enjoy Stephen Fry as an author so I thought it'd be worth a try to read something he spoke highly of. Still, I wasn't hugely compelled to read it until I thought of what my mother's reaction woud be seeing it on our kindle account. It's called Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition. So that's my two latest purchases: a book for me, and a laugh for my mom and sisters!
Weekly shopping which this week included a new toaster since the old one couldn't do much more than brown one little spot at the centre of the bread.
Let's see, I bought: - a climbing movement class at Sportrock - a climbing helmet - new locking carabiner - 4 ft dyneema - six non-locking biners - a hair dryer - ascorbic acid
I'm always on the lookout for something I've never tried. So this evening, I purchased this: Normally, I wouldn't because that kind of cheese is usually $7 or more! This time, however, there was one package sitting on top of the stack that was marked down (it was due to expire in a week), and so I got it for $2. Also, it's so delicious!
Thishttp://www.tumi.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4209997&prodFindSrc=paramNav A new briefcase/ computer bag. It's got room for everything I need while traveling and it's a good 50% lighter than my previous bag. I'm half hoping my suitcase wears out so that I can replace it with a new Tumi roll aboard bag.
Just ordered this: I got it at Think Geek- it was cheaper than amazon. I wanted the Tardis lights to go with it, but they're out of stock everywhere I've looked. Won't get here in time for Christmas.
I don't understand why it's so cheap at Think Geek. It's twice the price elsewhere. They must have gotten a huge dealer discount.
