Good story. Too bad Fisch won't be writing after Morrison leaves.

It still did. But light travels at a certain speed... so... on Earth...

And they might be right. The nu52 has been selling VERY well.... and really, isn't that what a business wants to do, sell its product?

I hadn't heard that. And I don't know why it would matter to any sort of settlement--which hasn't happened, litigation is still going on. I think they just thought, why is there underwear on the outside?

If anything, they did it to tie in with the movie's costume. But, there's no evidence of collaboration on it.

There was a settlement in the S&S heirs vs Warner/DC case? Even if true, I doubt that would cause a costume change. Most of the licensed product I see uses the pre52 costume.

The heirs are getting ready to appeal the decision, but yes there was a settlement reached last month. I posted the link in the New 52 thread if you wanna go back a few pages to read it.

I'll have to go back, but your sentence doesn't make sense, if the two parties have reached a settlement, what is there to appeal?

From what I understood there was a settlement years ago, but because of the change in copyright law, they used that as an opportunity to relitgate and essentially break the previous settlement.

Should we start calling that star 'Rao' now?

In that corner of the larger DC multiverse, apparently so.

Previous backstory versions in other parts of that multiverse have referenced - in reverse chronological order - a star in the Andromeda Galaxy, an unidentified red dwarf 50+ lightyears away, and Antares.

Hmmm. So I guess 1930's wrestling shorts over tights are now out of fashion.
