It seems that Angry Fanboy, this month's challenge's host, is AWOL, so I hope he won't mind if I do the poll thread for the April challenge. Although I was hopeful at first that we'd get a couple more entries than recently, we have only two entries. I didn't get mine finished in time. Anyway, the contenders for last month's challenge with the theme of "Abandoned" are: "Redshirt Haiku" by TheLoneRedshirt "Out In The Cold" by Bry Sinclair You have one vote.
Bry's story was great and really nailed the theme. It's definitely a worthy entry. I wish there had been more entries as my Haiku was basically a tongue-in-cheek reaction to the angst over story length.
I figured as much. I really wanted to participate but then I decided to rework my story completely and ran out of time. Maybe next time.
I had the beginning of a story, and the end of another, but couldn't make them work either separately or trying to tie them together. Great topic though, and really great entries. Looking forward to next month's challenge!
Congrats, Bry! Looks like the vote was a nail-biter; both challenge entries were most excellent. Looking forward to the new challenge!
Thank you all for the votes. I've already thought up the next chellenge. Watch out for the new post. One question: seeing as how Angry Fanboy hasn't yet posted his story in the winning entries thread, should I hold off putting my one there until he has done so? Cheers.
Congrats, Bry! Ic ouldn't decide between the two entries so I didn't vote. I'll post last month's winner in the winning challenges thread, than you can post yours, Bry.
