Just to clarify, I'm still tightening up the parts and pieces on the underside of the primary hull. Progress has been slow with holidays, birthdays, work stuff and ramped-up remodeling work on my house, but I expect to have considerably more free time after Father's Day to really push things along.

She is coming along nicely. Will this be used in some fan film project?

Holy smoke! Look who's not dead! And look which project isn't dead either!

As usual, I'm still playing around with rendering and Photoshop techniques, but the real thing to see here are the Wyvern cannons on the bow which, I'm really hoping, will be the final final versions.

For anyone wondering about the current status of this project, I did a bunch of work on it over the Holidays, mostly still trying to unify and optimize all the separate parts on the bottom of the primary hull. Admittedly, I'm being anal retentive about it at this point, doing a lot of mesh editing and clean-up that isn't strictly necessary, but I'm really trying to simplify it in as many places as possibly to reduce poly count and make it easier to UV Map when the time comes. If I get a chance, I'll try to post some before/after shots of what that looks like some time this week.

I hope to chew my way through this part of the process within another week or two, time permitting, and then I can FINALLY move on to the ventral gridlines and other details, including windows.

    Stay tuned.

Good luck with the cleanup, I'm not a 3D artist but this all sounds bothersome and laborious.

    We'll stay tuned of course.

Bothersome and laborious is a pretty good way to describe it, especially when it's holding up just about everything else that still needs to be done to the model.

As I said, the stuff I'm doing now is not strictly necessary. It won't change the rendered appearance of the model one iota except to clean up some joints and edges here and there. Where I expect the extra effort to pay off most is when I start cutting in the windows, which should go a lot more smoothly with a cleaner mesh.
