Hmm for an all english semi-final to happen it would require that no english team draw each other for the quarterfinals and there is only about 0.95% chance of that happening. :)

    4!/(choose(8,2)*choose(6,2)*choose(4,2)*choose(2,2))=0.0095

You're underestimating Blatter/Platini's abilities. The actual probability is approximately 0%.

We'll probably just have to settle for three. Again.

My complaint about the MOTD coverage was that there weren't enough closeups of Taggert's miserable face after each Liverpool goal went in. Not enough by far....

My complaint about the MOTD coverage was that there weren't enough replays of Morten Gamst Pedersen throwing himself on the floor with no Arsenal player within two metres of him.

He was in the penalty area and he had the ball too.

^^ I'd have given him a straight red for that. Cheating twat.

Good performance from Arsenal. Arshavin was particularly impressive. As for Bentner, if only his finishing was as good as his positional play.

Arshavin really is a footballing genius, he always seems to know exactly what to do with the ball before he gets it.

    Oh, and he's hard too.

    Villareal vs Arsenal
    M. United vs Porto
    Liverpool vs Chelsea
    Barcelona vs Bayern

No all-English semi, but likely three again...

    I rather like this draw.

The only bad thing about this draw: Manchester United can more or less book their accomodations in Rome already...

Shite draw for everyone except the Mancs unfortunately. Funny how that is the case every year!

I would prefer to see Man Utd vs. Liverpool in the final but can only see a Barcelona/Utd one and this time their defence will be breached unlike in last years semi final.

If that happens, I doubt Platini will have to worry about English dominance in Europe for at least five years afterwards.

Would be weird though, Henry would be denied a Champs league medal again!

Also, Fulham just beat United 2-0... Holy Crap!

Looks like United fans are going through two bad weeks in a row. I hope Liverpool challenge them all the way towards the end.
