Those look remarkably uncomfortable. I feel like I'd constantly be tugging at my crotch.

Actually, they're more comfortable than a straight fit for me. They don't cling to any funny bits around the middle, whilst still fitting just right around the hips and below the knee, and they're roomy enough to stick your hands into your pockets without cutting off your circulation. Once you go carrot, you won't go back! :p

I'm happy with my carpenter pants. Plenty of room all around.

I'm going to assume you only wear those when doing actual DIY. :p

Yesterday I received a copy of "Bad Ground: Inside the Beaconsfield Mine Rescue' by Tony Wright.

I decided to buy this book after reading some very negative comments made on the website of my local newspaper during the Chilean Mine Rescue. The two Beaconsfield Miners were part of the commentary team during the last few hours of the Chilean rescue. People's comments went along these lines

"What the Beaconsfield Miners went through can't be compared to what the Chilean Miners went though as the Beaconsfield miners were only trapped for 2 weeks and the Chilean miners were trapped for 2 months" - these comments overlooked the fact the the BMers were trapped in a small cage (and both were injured) whereas the CMers had 3 kilometers of tunnels.

OMG! That would look SO horrible on me! My ass is big enough without this to emphasize it.

    My latest?

I bought a “Timmy Time” blanket off ebay. “Timmy Time” is a kids show from Aardman Productions (Wallace & Gromit). I started watching it to reduce my tension. I love it! It’s a British show, so no R1 dvds ... yet.

I’ll be getting my Season 1 “Shaun the Sheep” dvds soon.

    I love Aardman Productions.
