Why did she get a special girl-mask?

    Oh.

The boy masks wouldn't fit and they took to it with tinsnips.

I'd imagine the chin of the mask kept digging into her boobs.

    Which would be terribly uncomfortable.

It's funny how they are slipping references to Barry / STAR Labs / Central City into basically every episode now... I know it's building towards something for the finale, but IMO it's getting forced.

There was an article somewhere that had the producers espousing the new sets they have for the next season, and this week seems to confirm that Verdant, the "foundry" lair and maybe even the mansion are headed off never to be seen again. Having Ollie's lair beneath a night club always seemed an odd choice anyway, since he'd be there whenever horny, drunk and often high young people will be snooping around; we've even seen a couple instances of Oliver and Sara tearing off from Verdant on their Arrowcycles, wigs and gear clearly visible, WHILE OTHER PEOPLE ARE ON THE STREET. Hardly a sure fire way of avoiding suspicion.

Wherever this new place is, I'll assume they'll give it a nice location with exits that don't open up into a loud night club. And while it makes sense for a gear-dependent superhero to have caches besides the main lair about town, it's weird that Team Arrow never caught wind of it... This is feeding a notion of mine that during the fifth year before he was "rescued" from the Hellish Island, he spent at least some time in Starling City setting all the infrastructure up that he would need to begin his quest once the time was right.

The only problem I can see with that theory is why the hell would he return to the Island?

I guess we don't know at what point Sarah left the island or whether there was some other inducement to get him to return.

Well since the mansion is open I guess the Luthors can move back in.

There's a suspension of disbelief here that you have to buy into in order to watch the show.

The ArrowCave's location is one of them I suppose.

Now of course a Mr. Ted Kord might need a mansion located need Starling.

Do we know where Gotham is filming? That would be hilarious if they actually did use that house as Wayne Manor.

Well unless they're going to build a set on a sound stage, there can't be too many other palatial mansions in the "area" that rent out rooms to film crews... Does anyone know if a lot of porn has been filmed in that mansion too?

I would think the interiors of the Queen Mansion are on a soundstage. The mansion used for outside establishing shots is Hatley Castle, a Classified Federal Heritage Building, so I doubt it's interiors were used for porn flicks.

I always do a double take when I realize something I've seen on TV actually exists somewhere in our reality. ;)

Specifically I'm thinking of the exterior shots of "The Centre" where Sidney, Broots and Miss Parker worked as they searched for that elusive Pretender, Jarod. IIRC, it actually was the exterior of the water treatment plant in Toronto.

After a quick check, I can confirm my recollection. :bolian:

It should be pretty familiar by now as it has been used in so many genre films or series.

Finally caught up with last week's episode last night. It was outstanding, but what - I just noticed this morning - happened to Ollie's leg fracture? This took place only days after his injury, and he was hopping around fighting that goon at the end. More pain drugs? A visit to Dr. Crusher?! :p

Maybe the writers figured having him still be unable to fight would detract from the psychological weight of his defeatism. If that's the case, I guess I don't really mind, not when the resulting episode is that excellent...
