Very shocked and genuinely filled with disbelief - it seems like ex-Babylon 5 actors seem to be as unlucky as 1970s era female DW companions.
Just bought all of B5 on DVD - excellent quality comapred to my vids - what a shame - I've really come to appreciate his acting as Sinclair.
Interesting how the video clip posted on page two of this thread foreshadowed the ending of the fourth season finale episode.
Sad news.Great actor with great presence. I especially remember the B5 episode where the main alien races got to explain their various belief systems and Sinclair filled an entire corridor with priests, shamen and clergy of all kinds to represent all the religions of Earth.
RIP. 60 is way too young. I would have liked to have seen Sinclair in the lead for the full run of B5. Like some others in this thread, I didn't see him as wooden so much as intriguingly oblique.
Sorry to hear it. I always preferred him to Boxleitner and I couldn't help but feel that he'd been shabbily treated by the network. And now taken much too young. RIP sir.
Well, I can't speak to the fact that he was shabbily treated by the network (I assume you mean PTEN here?) because I haven't heard anything. But, I agree that he was good. As far as comparisons with Sheridan go, I don't think that's fair, since both were good in their characters (I think of them as the Pike and Kirk, or Kirk and Picard if you like, of Babylon 5) in their own way. Of course, "War Without End" is one of my favorite episodes of the series, and it has both guys in it, so what does that tell you?
I feel bad I didn't drop in till now to offer my condolences. I heard about this the day after and its very sad. B5 continues to take losses and its really sad.
I, too, just heard the news and wanted to add my condolences. Farewell Michael O'Hare. I hope to meet you one day at that great B5 convention in the sky.
