    Hey Everyone,

As some of you may remember i came here a while back and had been posting work on a ship i was building. Well needless to say alot of time went by, and school came back into the picture so i haven't had a whole lot of time to keep working. Since then i've lost the original model i was working on. I know i have it somewhere. Just going to take some time to find. So in the meantime i figured i would start working on something else.

I've always liked the NX-01 so this new design i'm working on has many elements from it. Also right now it's very rough but i want to go ahead and start getting advice before i get to far into it. So, what do you guys think?

Looks good to me. :) You might make the "catamarans" a little more rounded, but I like the idea so far.

(If anyone doesn't know already, he's my little brother. :) )

    Looks good. :)

The only thing I don't like is that roll bar... It seems like the bar and the pylons should look like they are one part... does that make sense?

Yes it does, I would say start wide at the nacelles and end "narrow" near the roll bar/deflector area. From the front it looked like 1 solid construction, the current sideview breaks that a bit. Overall nice work so far! :)

p.s. I'm not sure if the center "nacelle" is a placeholder for an engineering section, but somehow I hope so. :)

    Dats cool.

Is it intended to be a triple nacelle design? If so (and you might anyway) make the pylons a continuous design from the lower nacelles to the upper - that is the same shape or so.

    I likey tho.

I likee a lot. But I also was thinking this:
I wouldn't suggest choosing, though. Make BOTH - they can be two separate but related classes. :bolian:

Well everyone, after looking back on this new build, i've seen a few problems, so i've decided on a re-build. I'll post back with updates as i get going. Feel free to add in any suggestions you might have!

And a side note to Sideshow Bob and Clawhammer, I'm liking that idea of having a engineering section up there. So we'll see what happens.

I think it'll look a whole lot better with textures and everything get put on it. But that's not really my strong suit. So, i'll most likely be enlisting MadMan to help me. haha. :techman:

    I like it!

The only part I think needs attention is that top pylon... it's really thin, and small.
    :)
