Unable to flash, Chuck is left behind for a mission--but soon encounters a sticky situation at Castle. (more like "Chuck vs. Home Alone") Brandon Routh guest stars.

Anybody else missing the feisty little General Beckman?

    Yes.

Chuck was a dick to her and dumped her as he was supposed to join her and her parents for dinner. So she left. Buy More fallout yet to be seen.

    Well, I saw the breakup.

I mean, is she gone from the show already, without any more in-depth resolution?

^Looks that way. :( So... I totally forgot today was Monday and didn't catch the teaser. Did I miss much other than Chuck not being able to flash?

Never thought the day would come where I'd think of Batman when I heard Diedrich Bader speak.

That, I think, was the best episode they've had in a long, long time.

THANK GOD, they finally let you-know-who know. Jesus F***ing Christ, that moment was a long time coming. The reaction, of course, was completely what you'd expect. I also liked the Buymoria Revolution.

And, as for the teaser for next week's----OMG!
I can't wait to see that!

No joke! That episode was incredible. So much payoff, and the last scene combined with the teaser. I'm excited.

I've only been around since "Chuck vs. First Class," but I'd have to say that's the best episode I've seen so far.

    Awesome!

Not only was that the best episode so far this season, it was also the directorial debut of series star Zachary Levi. I'd say the man has a future behind the camera if this is an indication.

He knows! Great way to move the show forward.

"Bag 'em and tag 'em Sarah, I mean, Agent Walker."

My favorite single line of the season so far.

Great episode with great character stuff, but unfortunately it comes at the expense of making The Ring the least competent villains imaginable or alternately Shaw and company the most idiotic group of heroes around.

The Ring knows about Awesome and Ellie and the Buy More, so what are our heroes going to do about it? Nothing!

Put Awesome and Ellie into witness protection or something? Heck no, that would make too much sense.

Move the CIA base to somewhere secure and secret? Heck no, again that would make too much sense.

We're just going to mount an offensive against The Ring so that they'll never have the time to use anything they know about us ever again. Yeah, right.

I've accepted the fact that the show makes little sense "sometimes" so there you go..

That said.. another awesome from me (that's 2x in a row!). Finally they have utterly crashed the reset button and are moving forward.

This was easily one of the best episodes ever.. it's got:

    - Jeffster
    - Party at the Buymore
    - Chuck revealing his secret
    - Chuck admitting he still has feelings for Sarah
    - Awesome going over the edge and doing something

if they continue at this pace i'll be one happy customer! :techman:

"Awesome's awesome, Grimes is just a moron!" :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

Man, that was fantastic! So glad Chuck has his best friend back, and hopefully now we'll be able to move forward with the Chuck/Sarah thing once and for all.

Jeffster is pretty much an automatic Excellent. I got a kick out of the WW2 imagery as well. I've long since accepted that the spy story logic doesn't stand up to scrutiny, so there was absolutely nothing for me not to like in this episode. Well, except maybe that they're seemingly writing out Awesome and Ellie with the Doctors Without Borders shit. I'd miss Awesome because he's so awesome, and I'm developing a Morgan-level crush on Ellie :shifty:

I don't know why, but every time I look at Ellie, I see Lynda Carter from the '70s Wonder Woman series.

    And that's a GOOD thing.

Yup I agree that they won't be leaving for Africa. The next logical progression is for Ellie to know Chuck's a spy at the worst possible time, forcing Chuck to really choose between country, friends and family.
