Check this guy out, talking about Wrath of Khan, which hadn't come out yet at the time - (Go to 1:54 for WOK, though he spoils other SciFi movies as well) http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/12...ovie-spoilers-these-days-in-1982-it-was-nuts/ Wow. I guess some people just don't think it matters?
^ Well, there's the story/legend that they knew people were expecting Spock to die, so they had him "die" during the Kobayashi Maru test at the beginning of the movie to throw people off. Unless, of course, they watched this news segment, hosted by Spoilery McSpoilspoil. I love the caption for the video on the Bleeding Cool site:
Haha, that's hilarious on so many levels. Yeah even the preview guy knew Spock wasn't going to stay dead.
He says "This is the movie Trekkies have been waiting light years for." Is that the same as if someone has been waiting miles for something?
Could have been worse, he could have said, "Star Trek II will be beaming to your theater in just under 2 parsecs!"
