I certainly was't seriously talking about Grodd as a possibility. I agree with you that they will want to keep the show as grounded and realistic as possible.

Kilg%re could work if they give it a more earthbound origin.

I recognize the name but I am very hazy on the details. He showed up in the Wally West Flash run, right?

Edit: Never mind. I found it.

That would be on AMC's The Flash.

It would certainly put the old letter column debate over the pronunciation of Kilg%re to rest! If they keep the same overall approach to using DC's history, I can definitely see them at least having someone introduce a computer virus at some point called Kilg%re.

    I always liked Chunk.

Would we be looking for the largest African American actor, or the best African American Actor over a certain tonnage?

Captain Boomerang Jr is Barry Allen's grandson, but without including Impulse already in play, it's a jigsaw with a third of the pieces missing.

Kilg%re would be a good episode for a Felicity crossover. Of course I would rather Col. Computron appear first....or maybe not. Perhaps Big Sir? Goldface anyone? The Turtle?

No, the Turtle is one of the Golden Age Flash's earliest foes. He's the Slowest Man Alive, in contrast to the Flash being the Fastest Man Alive. How that makes him a threat is... elusive.

By himself, the Turtle might not be a match for the Flash...but what if there were six of them...?

The Turtle like the Clock King (The animated version at least) is all about forward planning. Sure he's slow as shit, but he also started rigging the game and hedging the playing field in his favour days before the contest begins.

Now I want to see a CGI Grodd voiced by Patrick Stewart. ;)

Wouldn't Andy Serkis be a more fitting choice?

I may be wrong, but wouldn't Andy Dick be superb as Grodd?

Well, his costume wouldn't need any padding.
