Someone else come in and break the tie. A whole week to vote in the poll is silly. Instead of having an avatar contest every week, it makes us have roughly two a month.
4 days to enter & 3 to vote is how alot of them happen...but not all... depends on how many people enter. Extra time is great if more people vote...hint vote to break the 3 way :giggles:
I love the Cambrian. But I love pretty much all other animals, too. Now we have a three-way. We could have the "Misc Avatar Slam," where you have five hours to Vote. Or "Misc Speed Avataring," where you have five minutes.
I suppose four days to enter and three days to vote is reasonable. Everything moves so fast these days.
That's how I prefer to do it, no matter how many people enter. It only takes a few seconds to vote (unless you're especially deliberative).
Curses! I was going to make a picture of the Carthaginian elephant, but I forgot Oh well, I expect it would have been disqualified on the technicality that it hasn't actually been decided whether it was a different species of elephant... Anyway, my votes: Deckerd Haggis and Tatties and Deranged Nasat. EDIT: If you're going to make the avatar-making / voting times shorter can you make the crossover on the weekend - so I've got half a chance of seeing the threads
^^ Yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking for submission and voting, to give people who only have time on weekends to participate.

So, from what I get out of the length you guys want, Entry from Monday to Thursday, voting from Friday to Sunday?
