hmm... he looks like a very young and lonely sex kitten... do'ya think we should cuddle him for a while before we snack on him?

...mmm... I'm thinkin' he looks rather tender as is...

...of course, perhaps other parts need additional tenderizing...

I think we should have Hayes walk all over him for every evening for a few weeks. That will tenderize all the best bits.

?!? Why would you ever involve someone who has no appreciation for the numerous talents of Our Sex Kitten?!

The idea is for US to be cuddling Our Sex Kitten... until he's too fatigued to be on duty, and then to get him out of Sickbay, we could volunteer to--ahem--nurse him back to health in his quarters... and if Trip tried to bust him out of house arrest, we, ah, could include him in our nursing duties...

    To jespah: NSFW? explainy?

To teacake: I guess you don't know me from when I used to be on ST.c, or Arch-Angels, which I'm still on; now, repeat after me:
"...no Xindi, no MACOs; no MACOs, no Hayes; no Hayes, no problem!"

Keep repeating it until you can kinda-sorta see my point-of-view...

I love Hayes and though not much of a shipper in my heart I am always a slasher. It just makes things interesting..

But here, this isn't slash, it IS very touching. A Hayes tribute (with plenty of Reed in it) that made me tear up.

See truthfully I don't actually want him.

You should be glad of this, there is more for you that way!

I don't want him, but I do want Hayes to want him.

NSFW? You young'uns with yer new-fangled slang...

p.s. speaking of Boston, my hubby and I are going to see Boston Ballet's new production of "The Nutcracker" today!

...decided not to obsess about making clothes; will have them done in time for Arisia, if not Christmas...

NSFW means Not Safe For Work. People sometimes put that in a thread title or spoiler tag so someone isn't caught opening up something rather too ribald for those who might be looking at their screen :)

Well, OF COURSE this isn't safe for work or anywhere else! It's about Malcolm, and he does have explosive tendencies, and Dominic, who does the unexpected in public (all bets off in private!) (see Post #347!)

    Yep, NSFW.

    Thanks for the vid, teacake.

See, I like Hayes. I think he was a tragic figure and he kinda stands in for all of the redshirts. He gives them a personality and a depth that generally doesn't happen in Trek.

Plus I adore Steven Culp as a matter of principle. :)

...yeah, I started watching "Stargate: Atlantis" because it came on right after ENT in repeats on the Sci-Fi Channel because Connor was playing Michael Wraith (and just what the heck was going on with him and Teyla?!), but then I realized that McKay was kinda growing on me... like a fungus... and Zalenka was cute in a Malcolm-ish way!

Someone on another ENT board had a cute McKay aphorism:

McKay'd--it’s like being MacGyver'd but with some whining before the fix and a snarky comment after it!
